Camp Good Days

Weekend retreat sessions for men and woman 18 and over. Attendees can bring a companion or family member to the retreats for support. Program provides various retreat types focusing on couples, children, and siblings.

Strength for Life

A no-cost wellness retreat to help adult cancer patients and survivors find balance in their lives: emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Retreats are offered throughout the year in Hauppauge, New York.

Me-One Foundation

A no-cost weekend for adult cancer patients and their families. Applicants are allowed to bring up to five guests, which can be family members or friends and supporters.

A Fresh Chapter

Designed to help patients and survivors heal, connect, and serve others while overcoming the adversity and emotional scars of cancer.

Commonweal Cancer Help Program

A week-long retreat for people coping with cancer that is aimed at exploring emotional and spiritual dimensions of cancer, discovering that illness can sometimes lead to a richer and fuller life, and experiencing genuine community with others facing a cancer diagnosis.

Epic Experience

No-cost week-long adventure camps for adult cancer survivors and thrivers. Epic Experience accepts applicants 18 years and older. The adventure camps are held in the state of Colorado about three hours west of Denver. The camps are open to the adult cancer community around the United States and Canada.

Little Pink Houses of Hope

Retreats are offered to people who have undergone treatment for breast cancer within the last year. The beach properties are donated in various areas around the USA from Myrtle Beach to Michigan for patients to relax and retreat.

Look Good Feel Better

Two-hour workshops are offered to teach individuals how to cope with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Participants learn beauty techniques about skincare, makeup application, wigs, and head coverings.

Harmony Hill

Located on the south shore of the Olympic Peninsula's Hood Canal in Washington state, programs address the psychological, physical, and spiritual needs of people with cancer. The program consists of 3-day retreats, offsite workshops, and an online seminar series for people living with cancer, survivors, family members, and caregivers. They also offer young adult cancer retreats.

Cancer Services of New Mexico Family Cancer Retreat

This no-cost, 3-day educational retreat is for adults with cancer or adult survivors and their primary caregivers. Retreats take place twice a year and include a combination of educational workshops and group discussions among peers.

Smith Center for the Healing Arts

Retreats and programs for people with cancer and their caregivers. The Center facilitates several week-long, residential retreats each year in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Sacred Heart Miracle Camp

Camps and programs for children and adults with chronic or life-threatening illnesses, including cancer. Camp Miracle is located northwest of Pensacola, Florida.

Young Adult Programs

Breathe Now Wellness Retreats

A four-day retreat to support young adult couples, ages 21-39 that have completed cancer treatment. Programming includes yoga, meditation, hiking, cooking classes, and emotional support sessions. They are located in North Carolina.

First Descents

An outdoor adventure program for young adults ages 18-39 who are impacted by cancer. Activities include rock climbing, surfing, kayaking, and more.

Project Koru

A week-long, no-cost adventure therapy camp for young adult cancer survivors, ages 18-39. Participants learn to surf, paddleboard, snowboard, or ski. Programs are also offered virtually to allow attendees to participate anywhere in the world.

Send It Foundation

An outdoor adventure program for young adults ages 21-40. Programs take place in Lake Tahoe and in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Big Sky Kids

Young Adult Retreat (YAR) is week-long camp offering various outdoor activities designed for young adults ages 18-26 whose cancer is in remission. The only cost for campers is transportation to the Montana location.

Camp Sunshine

Young adult camp for young adults ages 18-21 who are on treatment or who have been recently treated for cancer. The camp provides an opportunity to interact with other young adults who have faced similar challenges.  

True North Treks

The young adults and caregivers camp provides immersive wilderness excursions and retreat-style experiences including yoga and mindfulness meditation. The camp is no-cost to attendees and treks are offered in various states throughout the U.S.

Base 2 Summit

The young adult program (ages 18-39) offers an adventure-based weeklong program in Northern Michigan. Base 2 Summit is a no-cost cancer survivorship program with wellness activities, adventure challenges, and opportunities for connection.

The Good Times Project - Kayak Adventure Camp

Designed for young adult cancer survivors ages 18-25. Attendees must be off treatment for 10 months. Located in the San Juan Islands in Washington state where there are various outdoor adventures.

Programs for Men

Reel Recovery

Fly fishing retreat at no-cost to men at any stage of cancer diagnosis. The retreat takes place over a two-and-a-half-day period and has locations across the country.

Programs for Women

Women Beyond Cancer

A farm camp in Aiken, South Carolina, for women diagnosed with any type of cancer. The retreat provides support and access to working with horses on the grounds of the farm.

Women Listen

Women Listen offers annual retreats for women diagnosed with cancer. Events are offered in Alaska and online.

Let Every Woman Know Alaska

This is an annual one day summer retreat camp for gynecologic cancer survivors in Anchorage, Alaska.

Casting for Recovery

Provides healing outdoor fishing retreats for women with a breast cancer diagnosis. There is no cost to participants and camps are in various states throughout the U.S.

Faces of Courage

This organization offers camps and outings for women ages 19 and older. The women of color camp is a unique offering for Black and Brown women experiencing cancer. All camps are offered at no-cost and located in Tampa, Florida.

Big Sky Yoga Retreat

A breast cancer specific retreat for women. Participants must be nominated and selected to attend. Self-nominations are accepted.

Camp Bravehearts

Offers women who are dealing with any type of cancer an opportunity to share life experiences through exercise, craft, wellness, outdoor activities, and social activities. Offered in various locations throughout the year in New York and Pennsylvania.

Creative Healing Connections

Provides attention to healing emotionally after cancer. Creative activities such as storytelling, songwriting, and visual arts are offered to patients dealing with a cancer diagnosis in the Greater Adirondack Region.

Diva for a Day

A full day at a salon or spa for women dealing with cancer. Women must be nominated. “Diva for a Day at Home” offers a safe way for women to participate from home.

Healing Odyssey

This weekend retreat in California for women cancer survivors supports networking with other survivors and offers strategies for coping with surviving cancer.

Mary’s Place by the Sea

A respite home for women who have been diagnosed with cancer. Services, both in-person and virtually, include oncology massage, nutrition education, individual counseling, and other programs. Overnight and two-night stays are available in Ocean Grove, NJ.
