Women of Color Community

Women of Color Community is a monthly support group created with intention, compassion, and care, facilitated by Loreal M., MSW, LCSW, OSW-C. This group provides a safe, supportive space for all women who identify as a person of color and who have received a cancer diagnosis—regardless of stage or type. Whether you're newly diagnosed, in active treatment, or living beyond cancer, this group offers a space to process emotions, ask questions, and receive perspective from others who truly understand. Conversations may include navigating the healthcare system, family dynamics, cultural experiences, and the everyday challenges and triumphs of the cancer experience.

Nourishing Body & Mind

At Iris, we understand that living with cancer brings emotional challenges alongside physical ones. Nourishing Body & Mind is a 7-week, small-group class designed to support both your nutrition and mental well-being.
This welcoming class offers gentle guidance through the complexities of food, eating, and the inner struggles that can follow a cancer diagnosis. With a focus on mindfulness and self-compassion, you’ll explore real-life situations and build confidence in making choices that feel right for you.
If you’ve gained or lost weight, are adjusting to a body changed by treatment, or feeling pressure to “eat right,” this class offers supportive tools, fresh perspectives, and a caring community to help you navigate those challenges.
Co-led by oncology therapist Jessica F. and oncology dietitian/nutritionist Stephanie M., you’ll find meaningful connections, thoughtful guidance, and ways to bring more ease to your relationship with food—and yourself.
