Nourishing Body & Mind–Group Class: Overview
Class Overview
At Iris, we understand that living with cancer brings emotional challenges alongside the physical ones. Nourishing Body & Mind is a 8-week, small-group class designed to support both your nutrition and mental well-being.
This welcoming class offers gentle guidance through the complexities of food, eating, and the inner struggles that can follow a cancer diagnosis. With a focus on mindfulness and self-compassion, you’ll explore real-life situations and build confidence in making choices that feel right for you.
If you’ve gained or lost weight, are adjusting to a body changed by treatment, or feeling pressure to “eat right,” this class offers supportive tools, fresh perspectives, and a caring community to help you navigate those challenges.
Co-led by oncology therapist Jessica Fox and oncology dietitian/nutritionist Stephanie Meyers, you’ll find meaningful connection, thoughtful guidance, and ways to bring more ease to your relationship with food—and yourself.
